The E-Reporting form is for use in situations in which no suspect information is present. (Examples: Your car was parked unattended and an unknown driver/vehicle hit your car and didnt leave a note or a vehicle hit your car and then fled without stopping to exchange information or before you could get a license plate.)

If you are aware of the individual or have a license plate of the suspects vehicle that caused damage to your vehicle please contact 9-1-1, state you have a non-emergency and explain the circumstances of your situation. If you have sustained any type of injury please contact 9-1-1 and do not use E-Reporting.

After the completion of the On-Line report. Please obtain a Washington State Motor Vehicle Collision Report by coming into the Kent Police Station lobby at 220 4th Ave S or by clicking on the link: http://www.wsp.wa.gov/reports/reports.htm

The operator or owner of any vehicle involved in a collision within the state in which any person is injured, including ones self, or in which any persons property sustains damages in the amount of $700.00 or more is required to complete a Motor Vehicle Collision Report, mail this report to the Washington State Patrol, Records Section, P.O. Box 42628, Olympia, WA 98504-2628.
